CodeBard Help Desk is ready to go after installation. You can start using it immediately to render support service. Take note of the below things you can do to make a good start:
Check your default Support Department
“General Support” was created as default support department. You can add new departments or rename the default support department in administration interface of your CodeBard Help Desk.
Add Support Agents
You have been added as the default Support Admin to the default department, “General Support”. You can add new Support Admins and Support Agents to existing and new departments from your CodeBard Help Desk admin interface.
Place Widgets and Menu links
For your users to access your help desk easily, add the “Help Desk Sidebar User Widget” which you can find in Appearance -> Widgets section of your WordPress site to your sidebar.
Adding Help Desk page link to your Menus is also a good way for your users to access your help desk page.
Your agents (and you) can use the “Support Agent Desk” page to view, manage and answer tickets.
Check and Edit Default Page Contents
The default content of these pages can be edited from your WordPress admin, and they are found in “Pages” section of your WordPress. Normally changing this content is not necessary, but you may want to give your users or agents extra information.
