CodeBard Help Desk WooCommerce Integration Quickstart Guide

CodeBard Help Desk WooCommerce is ready to go after installation. It adds more capabilities to CodeBard Help Desk and integrates it with your WooCommmerce.

By default, it starts auto-collecting information to make customer tickets more informative, and you may need to customize a few new features according to your preference:

Assigning Departments to Product or Order Support

In your Departments tab, now there is a utility which allows you to designate departments for Order support or Product support.

You can assign more than one product, or even an entire product category to a department. You can assign same product or product categories to more than one department – ie, to “Technical Support” department as well as “Returns” department.

In a new ‘WooCommerce’ Tab in your CodeBard Help Desk admin page, there a few new, important settings:

Product selection before Opening Ticket

You can have your customers select a product they already bought before opening a ticket. This extra information will be added to the ticket when opened. And while opening, customers will be guided to select departments which serve that product, along with departments which do not have any product assigned. (Ie general departments)

Order selection before Opening Ticket

You can have your customers select a particular order they placed before before opening a ticket. This extra information will be added to the ticket when opened. If a customer selects to

Product Selection and Order Selection can be turned on at the same time, allowing customers to open tickets for individual products or entire orders.

Users must have bought a product to open tickets

This advanced feature makes it a requirement for customers to have an order or a product in their account to be able to open an order. If a customer does not have any product or order in their account, they will be guided to select any department which does not have orders or any product assigned. If, no such department is available, then customer wont be able to open a ticket.

You should save your license key for CodeBard Help Desk WooCommerce Extension in the Addons tab of your plugin’s admin page in order to be able to receive updates and new features for your plugin.
